Obviously, the rainbow associated with rain and sunshine was popular. Others chose the bird type of rainbow, the Rainbow Lorikeet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This month\u2019s photo of a rainbow over the Karuah River near Longworth Park was taken by Paul Mulvaney. The sun was shining on the hill in the background and the misty rain provided a nice bright rainbow over the water. Unfortunately, the pot of gold must have sunk to the bottom of the river as there was no sign of it anywhere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The technical details of the photo are; it was taken with a Canon 7D digital camera with aperture of f\/22, shutter speed of 1\/13th<\/sup> of a second and ISO 1,000. The lens was a 24-105mm zoom at 105mm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Some of our photographers complained that there had not been any rainbows for months.
